چکیده
The thermodynamic functions of toroidal black holes are investigated in this paper by taking the cosmological constant as a dynamic variable equivalent to pressure. equation state and Smarr relation hole given. Then, Gibbs function is obtained calculating Euclidian action. Further we study other hole, such as, free energy, internal energy enthalpy. heat capacities at pressure volume well. results show that have no van der Waals type phase transition. Toroidal Black Holes and T-Duality
We consider the toroidal black holes that arise as a generalization of the AdS5 × S5 solution of type IIB supergravity. The symmetries of the horizon space allow T-duality transformations that can be exploited to generate new inequivalent black hole solutions of both type IIB and type IIA supergravity, with non-trivial dilaton, B-field, and RR forms. We examine the asymptotic structure and ther...
متن کاملOn the Thermodynamic Geometry of BTZ Black Holes
We investigate the Ruppeiner geometry of the thermodynamic state space of a general class of BTZ black holes. It is shown that the thermodynamic geometry is flat for both the rotating BTZ and the BTZ Chern Simons black holes in the canonical ensemble. We further investigate the inclusion of thermal fluctuations to the canonical entropy of the BTZ Chern Simons black holes and show that the leadi...
متن کاملSome Thermodynamic Aspects of Black Holes and Singularities
We review and correct the classical critical exponents characterizing the transition from negative to positive black hole’s heat capacity at high charge– angular momentum. We discuss the stability properties of black holes as a thermodynamic system in equilibrium with a radiation bath (canonical ensamble) by using the Helmholtz free energy potential. We finally analytically extend the analysis ...
متن کاملThermodynamic Analysis of Non-Linear Reissner-Nordström Black Holes
In the present article we study the Inverse Electrodynamics Model. This model is a gauge and parity invariant non-linear Electrodynamics theory, which respects the conformal invariance of standard Electrodynamics. This modified Electrodynamics model, when minimally coupled to General Relativity, is compatible with static and spherically symmetric Reissner-Nordström-like black-hole solutions. Ho...
متن کاملThermodynamic curvature and phase transitions in Kerr-Newman black holes
Singularities in the thermodynamics of Kerr-Newman black holes are commonly associated with phase transitions. However, such interpretations are complicated by a lack of stability and, more significantly, by a lack of conclusive insight from microscopic models. Here, I focus on the later problem. I use the thermodynamic Riemannian curvature scalar R as a try to get microscopic information from ...
